AFC Sudbury v Concord Rangers
Isthmian League North Division
The Elite Travel Stadium, Brundon Lane, Sudbury CO10 7HN
KO: 15.00

Hot on the heels of our visit to Mulbarton midweek, we have another 'return' fixture this weekend when we face Concord Rangers for the second time this season.

Back on 15th August, we went down by a single goal following a 3-2 defeat in a game of two halves. The Beach Boys going in 3-0 up at half-time but, changes after the break from Phil Weavers saw the second half belong to the Suds as a goal from Kyran Clements and one from the penalty spot, courtesy of Reuben Chinnery, had the hosts clinging onto the three points.

Since then, Concord Rangers have consolidated in the league, thanks to an unbeaten run of 5 games – including that victory over the Suds – and currently sit 9th with 19 points from 11 games. Their form over the past six league games, however, has been indifferent with 2 wins and 4 defeats.

Their top scorers are Kai Akwere Junior Udofot-Torres (8) and an old friend of ours, Mekhi McKenzie, with 5 to his name so-far.

AFC Sudbury U10s will be the matchday mascots, we will have our 50/50 prize draw in action again and the clubhouse will be open from 1.30 so come on down and get behind the boys for live football, up close.

Come on you Yellows!
