AFC Sudbury v Tilbury
Isthmian League North Division
The Elite Travel Stadium, Brundon Lane, Sudbury CO10 7HN
KO: 15.00

Following Tuesdays’s last minute comeback to earn a point at Felixstowe & Walton United, we’re back in league action at home to Tilbury this weekend.

Our last competitive home fixture against the Dockers came on Saturday 29th October 2022 when goals from Harrison Chatting, Nnamdi Nwachuku and Lionel Ainsworth secured the points. The reverse fixture in February 2023 also resulted in a win for The Suds, 2-1 with the goals coming from Josh Stokes and Sak Hassan.

Whilst that 2022/23 season ended in promotion for the Yellows, Tilbury suffered relegation from The Isthmian League North, to which they returned as Champions of the Essex Senior League after only one season away.

Tilbury currently sit in 12th place in the league with 9 points from 7 games having won 2, drawn 3 and lost 2.

Our recent form in the league, of course, is won 2 and drawn 1 over the last 3 games. More of the same this weekend will do very nicely.
