Back to back Cup action for the Men’s First Team this weekend and following our narrow FA Cup defeat last weekend at Cambridge City, this Saturday it’s the return of the FA Trophy against familiar visitors to The Elite Travel Stadium, Lowestoft Town.

Last season we equalled our best performance in this tournament by reaching the Second Round Proper, where we bowed out with that 5-1 defeat to National League side Hereford having defeated both Leiston and Bury Town in earlier rounds.

This will be our first FA Trophy match against Lowestoft Town. However, we have played the Trawler Boys in every other FA competition – the FA Cup, FA Women’s Cup, FA Youth Cup and the FA Vase. So this weekend we complete the set against this opponent!

Last time Lowestoft Town visited Brundon Lane an August bank holiday crowd of 362 saw The Yellows triumph 6-1 in the Southern League Premier Central. Goals coming from Liam Pearce (2), Ollie Peters (2), Joe Neal and Josh Allen.
