The close-season is coming to an end as 2026-2027 begins with the first of six pre-season friendlies, four of which will be played at the Elite Travel Stadium, starting this Saturday with the visit of Ipswich Wanderers, who will play in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division again this season.

It’s our first opportunity to see some new faces, some familiar faces from seasons past and of those that have stayed with us for another campaign. It’s also a first chance to see Phil Weavers and the new management team in action.

There will be one or two familiar faces in the Wanderers squad as well in what promises to be a great way to kick things off.

And a gentle reminder that later on the Clubhouse will be showing the Norway v England World Cup Quarter-Final clash on the big screen.
