AFC Sudbury under 18s made the short Journey to local rivals Bury Town under 18s in the Thurlow Nunn Youth League on a fantastic playing surface under the lights at Ram Meadow.
AFC started the game strong with the majority of possession, without creating any clear cut chances. Bury took the advantage when Tommy Robinson scored a fantastic freekick from just outside the box to put them one up.
The second half started with Sudbury pushing to get the equaliser, however Bury’s Charlie Cook hit an unstoppable half volley from outside the box to double their lead.
With Sudbury 2-0 down they pushed players up leaving two at the back allowing them to have more of the ball in the attacking third.
AFC pulled one goal back from a corner that was flicked on from Joe Grimwood and met by Marcel Walker.
The visitors continued to show determination and Ben Hunter delivered a perfect cross for Jake Colclough to guide his header into the far corner to put them back on level terms with five minutes to play.
AFC continued to pressurise the hosts and with two minutes remaining Isaac Skubich (pictured) received the ball on the touch line where he checked in to get away from his defender and then bent a shot into the bottom right corner.
It completed a great comeback as AFC took all three points
