From the off Sudbury dominated but did not take any chances. Unfortunately for AFC Sudbury's Panache, who landed awkwardly, was taken to hospital. Coggeshall opened the scoring in the first half with a sloppy corner headed home by the Coggeshall centre half. Sudbury continued to dominate and finally got back with a great bit of dribbling from Callum Vincent which he then drilled in the bottom corner with his left foot. At halftime the score was 1-1.
In the second half Sudbury seemed to play well through all three lines, the defence kept the strikers quiet especially Milo Grimes winning lots of important tackles, whilst the midfield of Ryan, Kane and Jacob created lots of chances. Sudbury were ahead in the second half with a short corner which Callum drifted in for Marcel to tap in. Sudbury's wingers carried on providing great through balls down the line and the great football led to Callum Vincent's second goal which made the score 3-1. Sudbury did not get complacent but carried on dominating the game, substitute Tom came on and scored himself a well worked goal which he slotted in the bottom corner to put AFC ahead making it 4-1. Coming to the end of the game Coggeshall managed to grab themselves another goal. The game finished 4-2 to AFC Sudbury. Another well earned 3 points.
