AFC Sudbury headed to Coggeshall six days after playing the home fixture. AFC Sudbury set out 3-5-2 and from the start got the ball forward and created chances.

On 13 mintues Callum Fuller put AFC 1-0 up, five minutes later AFC had another great chance when some good play down the right led to Callum Vincent striking the ball against the cross bar from inside the box. Coggeshall were happy to let AFC play and at every opportunity tried to counter attack, skipper Curtis Child was able to deal with the chances comfortably. AFC Sudbury were making hard work of getting a second goal and by half time could have been 3 or 4 goals up.

HT 1-0

The second half was much the same, AFC had some good chances & Callum Fuller grabbed his second AFC 2-0. Coggeshall were getting forward with AFC conceding some silly free kicks in dangerous areas; late on Coggeshall got a corner and with Curtis calling "keepers" Coggeshall make it 2-1 with a free header. This gave Coggeshall a late rally. AFC made it hard for themselves but came out victorious.

Full Time 2-1
