AFC Sudbury v Beccles Town

AFC fielded a complete first year team and were confident in possession dominating the ball throughout the half and went in at the break 6-0 in front and cruising. Goals came from Joe Walker who cut inside and slid a right foot shot past the keeper, Callum Watson with a timed strike across the keeper into the far corner, Kie Dyer who fired a left foot shot into the roof of the net and a sensational Callum Fuller hat-trick involving a smashed close range finish, a long shot which found the far corner past a stranded keeper and a placed left footed shot.

The boys were well on their way to the next round and really switched it on in the second half, three substitutes came on Ivatt, Carrigan and Bishop all making an impact. Ivatt especially who made it 7-0 not long after the restart. Callum Vincent assisted many of the goals and was unfortunate in the first half to not get onto the scoresheet but soon found himself amongst the goals as he converted a Jake Colclough cross with a diving header, a great finish when played through finding the crossbar and in, and followed these goals with two great pieces of play seeing him cut inside and find the far corner. Ben Hunter returned to play from the bench and immediately found the back of the net with a dipping effort from 30 yards which found the top corner in some style. Jake Colclough found the net with a goal from the byline which deceived the keeper but was a clear attempt on goal by the right sided player. A clean sheet for the AFC defence consisting of Captain Adam Dunnage and Milo Grimes who looked solid all night as well as 'keeper Luca Collins helping AFC through to the next round of the Cup in truly fashionable style as 15-0 winners.
