At the start of the game Leiston were on top as they were getting many balls in Sudbury's box to use their height advantage to get an early goal. Sudbury then started to dominate midfield which led to their first goal with a great ball by Ben Hunter which led to Rocha Fosker scoring a tap in. At Halftime Sudbury lead 1-0.
In the 2nd Half Leiston came out and put a lot more pressure on Sudbury than in the first half which led to Leiston's fall-back finding himself high up the field to score an equaliser. Leiston's goal did not change the way Sudbury played and after that goal Sudbury dominated the midfield which lead to Kie Dyer making a magnificent pass to Callum Vincent who slotted it home to make it 2-1.
The game was very end to end but a great ball from Leiston's left midfielder put their right full-back through again who chipped it over Sudbury's goalie to make it 2-2. After their 2nd goal the game was very even but Sudbury's left full-back Kane Munday put a quality ball through to Ryan McNicholas who finished it well to make it 3-2. Late on in the game, the tired Sudbury team tried to hold out the 3-2 result but a late header from Leiston's striker made the final score 3-3.
