AFC Sudbury v Luton Town
The FA Women's National League Division One South East
The Elite Travel Stadium, Brundon Lane, Sudbury CO10 7HN
KO: 2pm.
We welcome Luton Town Ladies to the Elite Travel Stadium this weekend, for another important game in the FAWNL Division One South East, as AFC Sudbury look for some all-important points in a bid to close the gap on Milton Keynes Dons.
Only three weeks ago we travelled to Barton Rovers for the reverse fixture and came away with a 3-3 draw, having led 3-2 for most of the second half. Our goals coming from Amy-Leigh Abrehart (2) and Ipswich Town loanee Kaci-Jay Bonwick.
Since that game, Luton Town Ladies have won twice in the league but suffered Bedfordshire Senior Cup defeat at the hands of Real Bedford. Whilst The Suds have struggled for points, the performances have been good and the football played is a joy to watch, just need that 'rub of the green' and plenty of suuport.
Come on you Yellows!
