The ladies were on the road once again, traveling over to Great Wakering.
With Sudbury sitting currently in 3rd place and their opponents at 9th it looked to be an easy side for the visiting team. But with coach Jemel Fox absent, Harriet Young stepped in with help from injured player Natalie Golding, it looked to be a test for them.
Great Wakering started brightly having the majority of the possession during the first half with Sudbury creating the only clear cut chance 4 minutes in where a well worked corner was poked goal bound by Marie Seabrook for it only to be scrambled off the line to deny the Suffolk side.
0-0 half time
The visitors came out in the second half with the determination to win the game. They battled hard through a congested midfield and it too some good play from Sophie Jeffery to win the ball in midfield to split the defence forward to EMMA SQUIRREL who chipped the ball neatly over an on rushing keeper with out the visitors ahead on 66minutes.
With the second half seeing Sudbury having the majority of possession they managed to see the game out and take home a well deserved 3 points back to Suffolk.
