Chatham Town v AFC Sudbury
The FA Women's National League Division One South East
The Bauvill Stadium, Maidstone Road, Chatham, Kent ME4 6LRN
KO: 2pm.
On Sunday, we'll be crossing the Thames at Dartford and heading towards the Medway towns and a second fixture of the season at The Bauvill Stadium, home of Chatham Town. Our first visit this season was back in September when we returned home having suffered a 2-0 defeat in the FA WNL Cup Group Stage.
The reverse League fixture ended up in a 5-1 victory for the team from Kent who currently sit in fourth place on 25 points.
Last weekend The Suds came up against a determined Luton Town side and lost narrowly in that seven-goal thriller at The Elite Travel Stadium by a single goal. Jesse Allens first-half strike the pick of the goals and, once again, we played some good football against illustrious opposition.
Sundays game will again be tough; Chatham Town will be licking their wounds following last weekends 8-0 defeat at the hands of Birmingham City in the WFA Cup but, in football, nothing is impossible.
Come on you Yellows!
