An unusual Wednesday evening fixture as AFC travel in their quest to make progress in the Ryman League Cup, The Velocity Trophy.
The journey takes them to Kent and the home ground of Dartford FC as that is where the opposition Thamesmead Town play their home games.
Thamesmead are currently in eleventh place in the Bostik South table with twenty-eight points from their seventeen games completed. To reach this stage of the competition they defeated Phoenix Sports 4-3 in the First Round.
AFC are in the Second Round after beating Brightlingsea Regent 5-1.
The AFC line up against Thamesmead will not include new signing Reece Dobson who is cup-tied having played already for Harlow Town in the competition. His omission will no doubt give Manager Mark Morsley some scope to introduce some more of the Academy products to first team action.
The coach for the game leaves King's Marsh at 4.30pm and at Eight Ash Green at 5.05pm.
