FA Trophy time and a Third Qualifying Round tie away at the Global Metcorp Stadium, Gaywood Park, against Hertfordshire side Kings Langley who ply their trade in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier League.
They were like AFC promoted to Step 3 after winning promotion as Champions last season. This time around they are currently sitting in fifteenth place with twenty-three points from twenty-one games played.
AFC have reached this stage of the competition five times previously and have reached the First Round Proper on four occasions, so they will be looking to get their again this time around.
The game will mark (if selected) the 350th appearance of Club Captain Sam Clarke (pictured). The combative midfielder joined the club at the start of the 2008-09 season from Great Wakering Rovers. He took over the Captaincy in October 2010 and has held the position ever since. He has suffered a number of injuries over the seasons and without them he would now be the leading appearance maker for the club. He however will surely eventually get passed the 376 mark of Paul Betson to hold the record. Congratulations on reaching 350 'Clarkey'.
Manager Jamie Godbold will be looking for some improvement in his sides end product from games. They have been putting in the effort but silly mistakes have become costly of late, but hopefully a great training session on Thursday evening will have helped to have ironed out some of the gremlins.
For the game young defender Alfie Carroll will come into the squad with full-back Jack Wilkinson missing with a hamstring strain. There maybe some slight shuffling of the pack in the defensive areas due to some unavailability issues. Up front Luke Callander will be eager to get his name back on the scoresheet in an effort to catch up with leading marksman Craig Parker.
The cost of admission to the game is £10 and £6 for concessions.
Any replay would be back at the Wardale Williams Stadium on Tuesday evening.
The coach for the game will leave The Wardale Williams Stadium at 11.30am.
