AFC travel to Capershotts the home of Waltham Abbey in the Second Round of the Alan Turvey Trophy sponsored by Robert Dyas (Ryman League Cup).

AFC got through to the Second Round by defeating Lowestoft Town 2-1 in the First Round. while Abbey won 3-1 against Harlow Town.

Manager Jamie Godbold will have a somewhat injury hit squad available for this game, with Luke Callander, Aaron Greene, and Sam Clarke out, and Ryan Henshaw is still suspended. Back in the squad after his loan period at Brightlingsea Regent is Jordan Blackwell. There could well be a couple of the club's Academy players on the bench.

AFC's opponents are also likely to give some squad players time in this fixture.
