AFC’s recent run of unbeaten games came to a halt as Bowers and Pitsea defeated them by a two goal margin at their Len Salmon Stadium.

A goal in each half saw the home side take the points, both goals as a result of errors around the AFC penalty area.

Manager Mark Morsley made a triple substitution midway through the half with Max Booth, Will Crisell and Tom Dettmar getting some minutes on the pitch.

There were 87 in attendance at the game as AFC slip down one place to tenth in the Bostik North table.
