The game was only six minutes old and AFC were in front as Eaton-Collins went through the heart of the Ware defence then goalkeeper Tom Coulton before sliding the ball home for his third AFC goal.
Barely five minutes later and AFC were awarded a penalty. Ahmed Mohammed slipped and that allowed Eaton-Collins through on goal Coulton came out and up-ended the Sudbury forward. It was a yellow card only for the goalkeeper and treatment for Eaton-Collins. AFC Captain Joe Whight stepped forward and took the spot-kick but the home keeper was equal to it and blocked his shot, from the rebound Whight fired over.
Paul Walker in the AFC goal, who has been in recent game been the sides best player was called in to action when Yannick Kamanan got his head to a left wing cross and the keeper had to push the ball away at the expense of a corner. The same Ware player then just failed to get to Rhoe Josephs pull back, before Walker saved a fierce drive from Ahmed Abdullah.

There were no changes for either side after the break, and it was the visitors who dominated proceeding, with Ollie Peters in midfield showing some nice touches. Peters after beating two defenders got the ball into Max Booth and the on-loan man fired against the Ware post. Peters then took a corner that found the head of McKenzie only to see the ball bounce off the crossbar.
Just past the hour mark Walker had to again be alert as he pushed away a long range shot from Alaa Oudji and then had to watch as Marcus Milner fired narrowly wide of the AFC post.
There were two yellow cards issued as AFC’s Tyler French as he and Murat Karagul tangled, and the one for Sudbury would prove costly.
With ten minutes left Karagul fired in a cross cum shot, the ball pinged against Paul Walker's left hand post and bounced away and the points seemed on the way back to Sudbury.
On ninety minutes French received a second yellow and thus he was sent off. There was a quick substitution with Booth being removed to allow Alfie Carroll to slot into the centre of the AFC defence. It was however in vain as the home side in stoppage time grabbed an equaliser. Oudji’s cross from the left found Karagul head at the near post and he headed into the back of the net.
It was heart breaking for the AFC side containing a number of young who had battled away well for the vast majority of the game.
