It’s back to Bostik North League action for AFC after excursions into the FA Cup and the Bostik League Trophy as they entertain Heybridge Swifts, with the game being sponsored by Phillips Engineering.
The Essex side have started their season very well and currently sit in third place unbeaten with fifteen points from five games.
Include in the Swifts line-up are likely to be five ex-AFC men in Luke Callendar, Sam Bantick, Ryan Henshaw, Ben Griffiths and Jack Cawley.
AFC for their part go into the game having won three games in succession for the first time since October last year.
Caretaker Manager Danny Laws will probably be able to select his side from a fully fit squad, Tyler French (pictured) having recovered from injury. Captain Sam Clarke will return having been unavailable in midweek.
Two AFC Reserve sides are playing, the Thurlow Nunn Division One side away at March Town United and the Essex Senior Reserve team away against Waltham Abbey Reserves.
