The final home league game of the season comes around with AFC in a less than comfortable spot in the Ryman League Premier Division table.
It seems a long time since the season started off so promisingly way back in August, but things are what they are.
AFC entertain neighbours Needham Market under the leadership of Mark Morsley who will be wanting a win to try and grasp a play-off place before he steps down from his managerial role next term.
The Needham squad will include two ex-AFC men in goalkeeper Danny Gay and midfield man Luke Ingram, while goalkeeping coach Nathan Munson will also be with them.
AFC Manager Jamie Godbold will be able to include Tyler French back in his squad after him being unwell on Saturday, while James Baker returns after his one-match ban. Danny Crow is likely to be missing due to injury and Liam Wales (pictured) who did well on his return on Saturday is a likely deputy. Also included in the squad are youngsters Joes Wright, Mehki McKenzie and Ollie Dunlop.
There will be time before the game up until 2.30pm to vote for the player of the year.
The game is kindly being sponsored by Great Waldingfield Garages.
