AFC play their second home game in four days as they take on Worthing at The Wardale Williams Stadium looking to continue their good work of Saturday when they took a point from the game with KIngstonian.
Worthing, who have a 3G pitch similar to AFC's will travel up from Sussex fresh from an away win on Saturday when they defeated Folkestone Invicta 4-2. They currently sit in eighth place with forty-nine points from thirty-one games played.
The two clubs have only met once previously back in October 2013 in the FA Trophy Preliminary Round when AFC won 2-0.
AFC Manager Jamie Godbold signed defender/midfield manTevan Allen from Bury Town on Sunday and will hope to include him in the squad. There will in all probability be another new signing joining him in the squad.
Missing the game will be Craig Parker who left the field on Saturday with a slight hamstring problem. The other player who went off injured, Tyler French is hopeful of being fit. The long term injured squad members, Jack Wilkinson, Erkan Okay and Jordan Blackwell will again be absent.
Joe Wright who started for the first time on Saturday is included alongside Alfie Carroll. James Baker needs one appearance to draw level with Lee Owen (389) and go into joint eighth place in the all time appearance list. Baker also needs three goals to get to his century of goals with the club.
