The Festive Football Season for AFC starts with a trip to Bloomfields to take on Ryman Premier League leaders Needham Market on Boxing Day with the game kicking off at 1.00pm.
Mark Morsley has led his troops to the top of the table with the help of a couple of ex- AFC Sudbury players in goalkeeper Danny Gay and midfielder Luke Ingram, while Nathan Munson is still amongst the backroom staff.
AFC go into the game in fourteenth place and Manager Jamie Godbold is relishing the chance to make progress over the busy holiday period.
His squad for the game includes two players not involved in the last game away at Harrow Borough, defenders Jack Wilkinson and Tyler French are both included having recovered from injury. Luke Callander and Liam Wales will be looking to carry on their scoring from the recent Ryman Under 21 game. One player missing will be recent signing Erkan Okay who has reached ten bookings for the season and is suspended for two games.
