AFC got their game away to Leatherhead played at the third attempt but unfortunately they came away from Fetcham Grove losing by a two goal margin and in the process slipping down to nineteenth place in the Ryman Premier League table.
Manager Jamie Godbold made a couple of changes to his side with both Aidan Austin and Rob Eagle unfit, new signing Tevan Allen (pictured) made his first start and Sam Bantick came back in. Jordan Blackwell and Wayne Blackman also started the game with James Baker fit enough to be on the bench.
AFC conceded a goal just before the half-hour mark and that was the score at the interval.
There were changes at the break with goalkeeper Marcus Garnham not reappearing suffering with a foot injury, Callum Robinson took his place and was soon in action making a number of good saves. Danny Crow was also replaced with Baker taking his place.
AFC felt hard done by when Bantick was through on goal and was taken down but his offender was only yellow carded, when a red was expected.
Liam Wales was introduced with Blackwell going off before a second goal, eight minutes from time was scored by 'The Tanners' to seal the three points for the Surrey side.
