AFC entertain North Suffolk neighbours and fourth placed Leiston in a Ryman Premier League game at The Wardale Williams Stadium, with the fixture being jointly sponsored by Nethergate Brewery and Day Impex Limited.
Leiston have been in the top four of the table since the start of the season and top of it for the vast majority of it. The side that used to contain a number of ex-AFC players now only has the prolific Gareth Heath amongst its ranks and the popular midfielder is still performing well.
When the two teams met earlier in the season AFC were defeated 2-1 at Victory Road.
AFC Manager Jamie Godbold will be hoping that his side can produce the form they have shown in recent home games and not those akin to his side when on their travels.
Skipper Sam Clarke continues to get towards that record number of appearances, he is currently on 348 so if selected against Leiston and then Kings Langley on Saturday he will clock up his 350th appearance. He needs twelve more to go passed Andy Claydon on 360.
The other two current AFC players in the top ten appearances are Ryan Henshaw (8th) on 277 and James Baker (9th) on 274.
In the goal scoring stakes, James Baker is currently on 94 goals, Craig Parker on 45 and Luke Callander on 37.
