AFC are on their travels, only the short distance to Harlow to take on Town, one of their long time rivals in Ryman North over many seasons and both promoted to the Ryman Premier last season, AFC as Champions and Harlow via the play-offs.
Both sides play on 3G their respective pitches so a great game of passing football is likely.
Harlow are currently in eighth place two behind AFC, they are on eleven points as opposed to Sudbury's twelve. In the Essex sides squad are three ex-AFC players, Craig Pope, Lawrence Yiga and Leon Antoine. Another ex-Sudbury man Piers Wixon announced his departure from The Arena on Monday.
AFC will be looking to get their season going again after suffering back to back league defeats against Tonbridge Angels and Billericay Town and going out of the FA Cup last Saturday at the hands of Ebbsfleet United.
Manager Jamie Godbold has end the dual registration of the two Bishop's Stortford players Ryan Auger and Anthony Furlonge early so they return to the Hertfordshire club. Missing from the AFC squad will be Captain Sam Clarke who has been suffering for the past month with an achilles problem that forced him off on Tuesday evening. Included in it however is Craig Parker who make be able to take some part in the game.
Also included in the playing party is Head Coach Matt Haniver who recently turned out in the AFC Development squad. His playing credentials are good with seven great season with Histon and more recently with Godmanchester United.
