Grays Athletic v AFC Sudbury
Isthmian League North Division
The EMR Stadium, Saint Chads Road, Tilbury, Thurrock RM18 8NL
KO: 15.00
We travel to Tilbury on Saturday and a first league game with Grays Athletic since season 2022/23. That was our promotion season, of course, and we came away from both fixtures victorious – 3-1 at home on 12th November 2022 (goals from Stokes, Nnamdi and an own-goal) and 2-0 away on 28th January 2023 (goals again from Stokes and Nnamdi).
It‘s still early days for this season and currently the Blues sit in 18th place, just above the relegation zone, on 13 points from 14 games. Their form over the last 6 league games is Lost 4 Won 2. Last weekend they defeated Lowestoft Town 6-0 but a midweek clash with Newmarket Town was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at the EMR Stadium.
Come on you Yellows!
