Takeley v AFC Sudbury
Isthmian League North Division
Takeley Football Club, Full Vision Stadium, Station Road, Takeley, Essex CM22 6SQ
KO: 15.00

We're back on the road this weekend and heading over towards Stansted Airport and a first ever encounter with Takeley FC.

This is their second season at Step 4 – they finished 17th last season in the Isthmian League North Division – having been promoted from the Essex Senior League as play-off winners in 2024–25.

Takeley’s league form over the past six games is: Won 2; Lost 4; Drawn 0. Those victories came at home against Brightlingsea Regent and away over Grays Athletic.

Our league form has taken a bit of a dip, although that has been at the hands of two teams at the top of the table and amongst those pushing for promotion. Last week in front of 516 we saw Reuben Chinnery add scoring from direct free-kicks to his repertoire as we went down to the odd goal to Gorleston. Reuben still sits at the top of the division’s goal-scoring chart with 11.
