AFC Sudbury v Stourbridge
Southern League Premier Central Division
The Elite Travel Stadium, Brundon Lane, Sudbury CO10 7HN
KO: 15.00
Our final home game of the season sees us welcome Stourbridge to the Elite Travel Stadium. On their last visit to Brundon Lane, back on 5th April 2025, the Glassboys fell to a 3-0 defeat. This was the 4th of that 7 game unbeaten run at the end of last season that ensured The Suds retained Step 3 football. Goals that day coming from Callum Page and Marcel Lewisl in front of a crowd of 410.
Earlier this season, back in December, The Suds came from 2-0 down at half-time to grab an away win and three points thanks to goals from Marcel Lewis and a Kien Connolly brace, his first of which is surely in the running for goal of the season; a delicious lob from the left corner of the 18 yard area.
Since then, Stourbridge have stabilised under Scott Adey-Linforth and they currently sit in 16th place on 44 points. Their last six games have returned 1 win, 2 draws and 3 defeats, this includes their defeat at home to Needham Market on Wednesday.
