On Easter Monday we welcome Needham Market to the Elite Travel Stadium for the final Suffolk derby of the season. As well the local rivalry, their squad on Good Friday featured six former Suds in their game against Bromsgrove Sporting and we will be sure to give those boys a warm welcome! That game ended in a 1-0 victory for The Marketmen, the solitary goal coming from their most recent signing from AFC Sudbury, Marcel Lewis, and it keeps their hopes of a play-off place alive following two strait defeats at the end of March

Our form over the past three games is identical to that of Needham Market; played 3, won 1 and lost 2. On Good Friday we gave another play-off chasing team – Quorn – more than a few anxious moments with the post, the bar and their 'keeper ensuring they claimed all three points thanks to a solitary 4th minute goal.

Back at the beginning of February, on a night of atrocious weather, we came away from Bloomfields in the reverse fixture to Mondays game on the wrong side of a 4-2 scoreline, but we remained competitive for most of the game. Had that Jacob Goredema shot gone in off the post or the rebound knocked-in when level at 2-2 then... well, who knows?
