Bromsgrove Sporting v AFC Sudbury
Southern League Premier Central Division
The UK Electrical Stadium, The Victoria Ground, Birmingham Road, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, B61 0DR
KO: 3.00pm
We make our way 13 miles to the south-west of Birmingham and another visit to The Victoria Ground, home of Bromsgrove Sporting. Scene of one our finest hours at Step 3 two seasons ago. On that day goals from Simeon Jackson and Josh Allen gave The Suds a 2-0 win which proved absolutely vital in that season's 'Great Escape'.
Last season our visit to The UK Electrical Stadium didn't go as well but our overall record against The Rouslers has been good. We’ve played them five times in this division so-far, winning on three occasions, drawing once (earlier this season at home 2-2) and losing that away game last season.
Recent home form for Bromsgrove Sporting has been patchy; losing their last two but winning back on the 24th January against Barwell. They sit in 18th place, 9 points ahead of us having played 31 games.
For The Suds it’s still everything to play for and there is still time to put points on the board and close that nine point gap. We know we can make a contribution from the terraces and maybe recreate that memorable day back in April 2024.
If you can't make the trip, then listen to Isaacs commentary on AFC Sudbury Live! from 14.55.
Come on you Yellows!
