Fingers and everything else are crossed that we can finally get 2026 underway with some New Year football in the Southern League Premier Central with the visit of Bishop’s Stortford.

The weather has taken its toll on our fixture list this season and re-arranged games are coming thick-and-fast, so keep an eye out on social media and this website for updates.

The tail end of 2025 saw us hit a rich vein of form with that seven game unbeaten run that has improved our points tally. We still sit in the relegation zone but we are within touching distance of safety and we have everything to play for.

Bishop’s Stortford come to us with identical recent league form. Our results against them have been mixed; a win apiece last season and then that second game of the season when Marcus suffered an injury in the warm-up… but that 'luck' is behind us now and the squad we currently have can give anyone in this division a game and get a result.

Our visitors today do not have far to travel so expect a larger than average gate. Get to the Elite Travel Stadium early, wrap up warm and put your best singing voice on.
