Needham Market v AFC Sudbury
Southern League Premier Central Division
Bloomfields, Quinton Road, Needham Market, Suffolk IP6 8DA
KO: 7.45pm.
We head to Bloomfields for the first time since the 2023/24 season for the re-arranged New Year fixture to play local rivals Needham Market. The Marketmen are looking for a prompt return to Step 2 and the National League North while we are looking to find some elusive points to get 2026 under-way.
Our last two games have ended in defeat but there have been moments in each game where we have been on top and have created chances. Once again on Saturday Kien Connolly found the back of the net – his seventh of the season – with new signing Harvey Peters providing the assist. Harvey, making his debut at Real Bedford, looked good at both ends of the pitch and a welcome addition to the squad.
Come on you Yellows!
