‘The Jammers’ are this season under new management with ex-Colchester United player David Wright at the helm. He has brought in a number of young players and also some others with experience including ex-AFC player Darren Mills. He signed from Leiston before last Saturday’s fixtures and was then sent off on his debut. Another ex-AFC man there is wide man Rhys Henry who joined them from Needham Market earlier in the season.
AFC Manager will include in his squad new signing twenty-four year old Sam Bantick (pictured). The midfielder was with Brentwood Town last season as they gained promotion from Ryman North, this term he has been playing with Concord Rangers in the National League South and was dual registered with Ryman Premier League side VCD Athletic playing the last month with them.
Missing from the squad will be as he was on Tuesday, will be Craig Parker who is unavailable due to a pre-arranged family commitment. Luke Callander will be looking to get on the score sheet as he attempts to catch up with Parker in the AFC goal scoring charts.
