Well forty-five games gone and now the last game of the league season has arrived and whatever happens AFC will finish it in third place. So it is a great improvement on last season’s tenth place, and the first time into the play-offs since the 2007/08 season.

The final game sees a trip to Julius Martin Lane and Steve Fallon’s Soham Town Rangers. Once again AFC Manager Jamie Godbold (pictured) has fully fit, suspension free squad to select from. It may mean that with third spot secured he is able to rest some players before Wednesday’s play-off fixture.

Soham who finished eight last season, are currently in eleventh place in the table and looking to stay in the top half.
