This was a game that was full of endeavour but ended without a goal being scored and in reality there were fews chances in the whole ninety minutes.
AFC gave nearly all of thier squad some playing time with the exception of Rhys Henry who was out injured. He was joined on the sidedlines by Sudbury Captain Sam Clarke who lasted only seven minutes before limping off with a calf injury.
The visitors included in the squad ex AFC men Fox, Mitchell, Cunningham and Harrop.
The best chance for Stowmarket came in the second period when Andrew Wood saw his shot tipped around the post bt Paul Walker.
For AFC substitute Tevan Allen had a number of shots that Brand in the visitor's goal kept out.
So all square and the Sudbury supporters have to wait unti the first league game of the season, Saturday 12th August before they see their side in home action against Canvey Island.
