AFC travelled to Norfolk and the lush surface of the Norwich City training centre at Colney to take on the Canaries Under 18's.
The facilties were second to none and the pitch was top quality and that allowed the free flowing football AFC like to play become easier.
Manager Jamie Godbold, who was without skipper Sam Clarke ruled out with a calf injury and it was Tyler French who took over the Captains armband. A couple of triallists were named in the squad and the were allowed some minutes in the second half of the fixture.
AFC had the better of the first half but the teams went in atbthe break without the ball entering the net.
The scoring was opened by AFC front man L'heureux Menga who ball in via the crossbar following a Tevan Allen cross. It was Allen the former Bury Town man who got on the scoresheet with a brace of goals to complete the scoring as AFC ran deserved winners against the Norwich youngsters.

AFC now have a week to prepare themselves for the first league game of the season when they entertain Canvey Island.
