AFC Sudbury's performance last night will be one talked about for while. After a massive performance on the south coast at Bognor on Saturday, they carried on for another 120 minutes. After grabbing an early goal in the 10th minute from Billy Holland, they held out under constant attacks from the visitors. Paul Walker in the Sudbury goal was again outstanding in making save after save. It tool until the second period for Bognor to break through and they did so twice in a five minute spell. But then, cometh the hour, cometh the Captain, a free kick in the 88th minute, 20 yards out, Joe Whight kept his cool and rattled it in off the underside of the bar, with Mekhi McKenzie following in to make sure as the ball did spin back out. Then in extra time it McKenzie himself who turned hero finishing calmy to put AFC Sudbury into the next round.
