After the travel day we all went to bed to acclimatise ourselves to the 8 hour time difference, it was 06:15 when the first travellers awoke, it was a steady and gradual process of seeing them all arise.

Breakfast was had (thanks to Craig and Jamie for their previous days late night shop) followed by a team meeting ahead of a Walmart shopping trip. 90 minutes later and three mini buses rammed full of Walmart bags (not sure the Americans are as keen as us on reducing carriers bags !!) we returned back to base.

We nod had some downtime at the base and after a friend of Jamie’s had cleaned the pool the players all ventured in, the large hot tub being the main focal point.

The evening soon came around and we all ventured into the Las Vegas strip. Parking at the Luxor we wandered along the strip in awe of the dazzling light displays, huge casinos and many other street attractions. We headed to the 9pm meeting point restaurant and all 35 of us piled in for a great American meal.

We eventually made it back to the Villa at around 11pm with some very tired faces.

Tomorrow brings a Uni visit in the morning so a 9am start was declared.
