As the tour hits the half way point the tournament begins.
The day started with brilliant sunshine, the players had breakfast and then all ventured out into the gardens for some sun bathing and relaxing.
Then at lunch time we decided to top up on some retail therapy and headed to both Walmart and a shopping outlet again. Several dollars later we headed back to base to prepare for the evenings events.

Whilst out shopping the kit was washed and laid out by Michael, a top job.

We had to split up in the evening as our female players had a tournament match at the Bettye Wilson complex and our boys had a showcase event at a local American Football ground.

The girls joined Albion FC’s team and kicked off playing in red. Our players played key roles in the match and were fully utilised. Their opponents were a very good side and quickly went one up, Albion had chances to equalise but we’re probably guilty of overplaying. In the second half a couple of keeper errors (keeper was a midfielder) meant the match finished 4-1.

The boys played in a showcase match on the local American football pitch which was organised by Albion Las Vegas, coaches from university’s watch on as the boys played.

After these matches had finished it was back to the villa for Pizza night and a relax in the hot tub.

Another fully filled day in Vegas has come to an end.
Tomorrow is a busy day with one girls match and two for the lads, then off to watch Las Vegas Lights football team in the evening.
