The Recruitment and Scouting section of AFC headed by Chris Bond (pictured) were responsible for putting on a trial match last Thursday at King's Marsh. They were looking to uncover some hidden talent that they know is out there.

The game split into three thirty minutes enabled the first team management to look at players in various positions. Bond declare the trial as "A worthwhile exercise and a number of players will be invited back for pre-season training that starts next week".

AFC start their pre-season fixtures next Saturday 8th July with a double header, Haverhill Rovers at 12.00pm and Thetford Town at 3.00pm.
