AFC secured a place in the Ryman North play-offs by comfortably defeating relegation bound Redbridge 5-0 and with it third place in the table.
The win means that AFC will play at home, The Wardale Williams Stadium, in the play-offs on Wednesday 29th April with a 7.45pm kick off.
They will play the team that finishes in fourth place and at the present time that is Brentwood Town, but Thurrock could still overtake them dependant on next Saturday's results. Both side finish their league season away from home, Brentwood are at Heybridge Swifts while Thurrock travel to Brightlingsea Regent.
Redbridge were comprehensively beaten after losing their goalkeeper who was sent off after fourteen minutes. Luke Callander (pictured) had already scored before he hauled down Craig Parker and saw red.
James Baker making his 200th appearance stepped up and scored from the spot, Sam Clarke got the third and Kris Newby the fourth all before half time.
The second half saw the ten men defend resolutely and they only conceded one goal further scored by Craig Parker.
So only one remaining league game away to Soham Town Rangers next Saturday.
