AFC Sudbury have swooped to sign striker, Joe Neal from Step 2 side St Albans for the 23-24 season. Joe will find himself in familiar surroundings having played against AFC twice last season in the F.A Cup.

Manager Marc Abbott says of Joe "He's an excellent signing for us and has the ability to score goals. Having had previous experience at Needham market and Biggleswade Town at Step 3, we feel as though Joe has the necessary qualities to score some important goals for us this season. But not only is he a goal scorer, his work ethic, endeavour and willingness to run will i'm sure be acknowledged by the fans. Joe spent the last season and a half at Step 2 side St Albans City where he featured more than 30 times last season"

Welcome to the club Joe, we're all eager to witness what kind of partnership you can form with Romario Dunne, who is a similar style of player. We'll only have to wait 9 days until we can see for ourselves of course as our Pre Season schedule kicks off at home to Hashtag Utd on Saturday 8th July.
