Last night the AFC Sporting Dinner with guest speaker Stuart Pearce took place in the marquee at the ground. General Manager Darren Theobald welcomed the guests, all of whom were served a delicious 3 course dinner prepared by Jamie Lee Smith Catering. Photos of the evening can be viewed here.

The terrace in front of the main clubhouse will be named "Heads up Yellows Terrace" in honour of our President Phil Turner

Club person of the year was awarded to Club Photographer Clive Pearson

Supporters Club merit award for supporting the club went to outgoing Chairman and new President Phil Turner

First team managers player of the season was awarded to Tom Dettmar

First team players player of the season went to Paul Walker

Supporters player of the season which was originally presented at the final home match of last season was re-presented to Paul Walker

Ladies team managers player of the season was awarded to Amanda Short

The Emma Holloway Shield was awarded to Emma Squirrel

Our guest speaker Stuart Pearce then took to the mic to entertain us with tales from his career and was very well received.

Top comedian Aaron James then rounded off a great night.
