Following Leighton Williams departing the club in June due to the understandable need to focus on his full-time employment and other personal commitments, after joining us as Assistant Club Secretary in March, we are very pleased to announce that Alex Grimwood has taken up this role now.

Alex is now undertaking the Assistant Club Secretary role in a voluntary capacity with a view to taking on the role in its full title after this season when he'll then be fully trained up. Alex started on his AFC Sudbury enrolment at the beginning of August and is already proving to be an asset to the club. He is coming down three half-days a week and will develop his knowledge and understanding of the club through this season.

Alex says "Hi, my name is Alex Grimwood and I am very pleased to be working as the Club Secretary. My main experience [that will help with our many youth teams] comes from working with children in primary schools and nurseries. I am very passionate about football and other sports like Formula 1 and Darts."

Chris Ruggles remains as Fixtures Secretary for the Men's First Team.
Chris Levitt remains as Fixtures Secretary for the Men's Reserves Team and Youth Cup.
