Reflecting back and looking ahead

With our JPL U15 Girls preparing for their cup final on Saturday v Erith & Belvedere at the Worcester Warriors Stadium, one of the players involved in the run, Charlize Moore took time out from her week of work experience in the Academy to look back on some the of key games leading up to it

3rd February - Aldershot Town away quarter-final: 2 -1

In the quarter final we were 1-0 down in the first half but then not long into the second half Elise Proctor received the ball out wide on the left, took it round 2 girls and then crossed into the box for Sophie McLennan to head in beyond the goalkeeper

Not long after we won a freekick just inside the Aldershot half. Eve Horne took it and floated it into the area, where a Aldershot defender headed away but only as far as Elise who got onto the clearance and slotted it in the bottom right side of the goal
