AFC Sudbury are pleased to announce that following a meeting on Friday afternoon between our manager Mark Morsley, Tyler French and his representative James Wiemer, Tyler has agreed and signed a new three-year contract with the club.

Tyler, a product of Danny Laws’ AFC Academy has attracted the attention of professional clubs in recent times but he felt his initial development was best in the hands of Mark and his team.

Manager Morsley said, " I’m really pleased to get this one over the line. Tyler is a really great kid and one hell of a footballer. We had a really good, positive meeting and I have to pay credit to his agent James Wiemer who conducted himself in an exemplary manner and was totally professional throughout the process. We can now put this to bed and concentrate of our season starting with tomorrow’s exciting FA Trophy match at Metropolitan Police".
