AFC Sudbury groundsman Danny Crosbie assisted ably by some volunteers was at The Wardale Williams Stadium for most of Thursday while 50 tonne on sand was spread on both the main pitch and the practice area.

With the large amount of games that have already been played on the main pitch this season it was something that needed doing as the wetter weather descents on the area.
