Everyone at AFC Sudbury would like to place on record our thanks to Joe Neal and Tom Dickens, who have both decided to leave the club. Both players have been instrumental in our step 3 survival and we wish them nothing but the best.
Joe Neal, who made 86 appearances for the Suds, scoring 30 goals, had this to say on his departure, ‘I’ve loved the last 2 seasons, full of ups and downs and I’ve made memories for life’
‘I really want to thank all the players, staff, volunteers and fans for everything they’ve done, they’ve made the last 2 seasons of football the most enjoyable I’ve had for a very long time’
‘Hope to see you all soon and I wish the club nothing but the best, Up the Suds'
Tom Dickens, who made 91 appearances for the Suds, scoring 4 times and also winning Supporters Player of the season twice, also added a comment on his departure, 'I’ve loved my time at AFC Sudbury over the last 2 seasons and this wasn’t an easy decision to make.
I would like to say a massive thank you to the players, coaching staff, volunteers and supporters.
There’s been ups and downs but I’ve made memories in these 2 seasons which will last a lifetime!
Wishing everyone at the club the very best for the upcoming season!
Up the suds'
Two absolutely quality lads, that will be missed, but fear not, we are working hard behind the scenes and hope to release some news regarding new additions in the coming days and weeks.
