With our Men’s First Team due back for pre-season training in three weeks time it seems a good opportunity for an update on the personnel both on and off the pitch. In a more than expected busy Summer we have added to both the playing and backroom staff. This season promises to be a very exciting season with no less than 4 Suffolk teams within the division and some big ambitions from some of the established Southern League Premier Central Clubs.

There will be the inclusion of a number of the current second and third year academy players featuring in pre-season as well as throughout the year. The club is committed to providing the best environment and pathway for its young players to progress into the first team joining the likes of Jacob Goredema who makes up one of six current / graduates from our academy in the first team squad.
There will also be a number of trialists involved at the beginning of pre-season with the view of running the rule over these players and hopefully finding a hidden gem or two to make up our roster for 2025/26.
Finally the club would like to place on record its thanks to Matty Miles, Tom Dickens, Joe Neal, Myles Cowling, James Bradbrook, Ollie Peters, Ryan Henshaw, Luca Terminello, Ben Bradley, Sam Cox, Stanley Richardson and Kasey Clark from last years playing squad and we wish them well at their new clubs or in Sam and Stanley’s case at university in the USA. Also leaving the backroom team are Gavin Peters and Jordan Beale, both stepping away from their end of season positions within the staff.
We look forward to seeing as many supporters at the pre-season games and throughout the season in what is hoped will be another historic year for the club.
