Last night the club completed the signing of experienced striker George Purcell.
With Gilly now gone, Romario and Clowsley on the treatment table and Cruis sitting things out due to an altercation at Hullbridge, the club have moved swiftly to sign 33 year old George from tomorrows opponents Barking.
George has a wealth of experience and is probably best known for his time spent at Hornchurch where he netted chance after chancel becoming their record goalscorer in the process. Whilst with the Urchins he also played a fair few games with Ross Wall and they formed quite a partnership.
I am sure we are all looking forward to seeing that link up blossom again here in Suffolk.

We have had some outgoings recently also that you may not have picked up on but Tom Maycock has returned to Needham Market after his loan spell ended, Tom managed 4 starts, 1 sub appearance and 1 goal and defensive midfielder Christian Frimpong has left the club also after 14 starts, 3 sub appearances and 1 goal.
