Brightlingsea The Visitors

Boxing Day sees a 3.00pm kick off at The Wardale Williams Stadium when Essex neighbours Brightlingsea Regent make their first ever visit.

The North Road side have surprised many this season with some great results in their first season at Step Four level and currently sit in eleventh place with thirty-seven points from the twenty-five games played.

AFC Manager David Batch will have an almost full squad to select from with both James Baker and hopefully Kris Newby over their hamstring injuries. Missing from the Sudbury line-up will be the player who has scored four goals in the last two games, Correy Davidson. The flying winger has been allowed to return to Ireland to see his family for the Christmas period. However there maybe a return for another player who has been overseas for the last few months, we will have to wait and see.

One AFC player who will be looking forward to the game is ex-Regent man Terry Rymer, while likely to be lining up against Sudbury is ex AFC man Russell Malton.
